Prabhas Stands Tall with Mirchi

Young Rebelstar Prabhas's latest release 'Mirchi' is going to celebrate 50 days in 238 centers on this Friday. The movie has unleashed the box office stamina of Prabhas and raked in record collections all over. Directed by debutant Koratala Shiva ‘Mirchi’ has become the biggest hit of 2013 and is still ruling the roost at the marquee.

The fresh music of Devi Sri Prasad, the powerful performance of Prabhas and the glamour quotient of Anushka and Richa have appealed to different genres of audience. Moreover, it was Koratala Shiva who should win the maximum accolades for making this to happen. It's a very rare sight for a film that was released in a dull season like February to complete the 50 days successfully in as many as 238 centers including two centers in USA. And Prabhas has achieved this feat with 'Mirchi' for the first time in Tollywood history.

On the flip side, Prabhas is currently undergoing training in sword fighting, horse riding and other skills for his new movie 'Bahubali' under the direction of tough task master Rajamouli. The shooting of the film would begin shortly.
