This is the first time any telugu movie has achieved this feat in USA. Mirch has collected close to $700k in USA and made it to the list of biggest hits in USA.
Regal Commerce Center, NJ, a mainstream Hollywood first run theater runs several Hollywood movies and Mirchi has surpassed many Hollywood movie collections in these 7 weeks in this theater.
Carmike Park Palace 16 in Cary runs several Indian movies and this is the first time a telugu movie has run for 50 days in this location.
